HP Ultraslim Docking STation US
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I can use my HP EliteBook 830 G6 without issue to connect using HDMI to my Samsung 49" model LC49HG90DMXZA. at 3840x2160.

However, when I use the HP Ultraslim Docking Station US and the only ports reachable are the docking stations DP ports (I tried each of the two ports) the display shows 3840x2160 but the screen is stretched such that it looks like 1980x1080 but stretched across 3840x2160.

I tried rebooting, changing the window settings downward and back, but it seems the Display Port on the Docking Station is doing this to me.

I tried going to my IT and they are researching it.  I asked them to simply update the docking station and install the monitor driver from Samsung but it was working straight from the notebook to the monitor without any other drivers.

I even tried adapting the DP on the back of the docking station to the monitors HDMI connector just in case that was it.  The monitor has DP, mini DP, and HDMI connectors.
