Try this download here:

It says 850 G3, but I install it through 9470's and 9480's hooked to these docks all day long.

I was updating some fine preowned docks and thought I would check for newer firmware.

The OPs post links to the release notes for a 2.33 firmware.  The link below and anything else I find only shows a 2.30 FW.  Is there a 2.33 release (SP79015.exe).  I have seen HP pull BIOS releases before so maybe its gone for what ever reason.

FWIW, I run a combo of 840 G1 and G2 on these.  With the G1 1.46 BIOS (I think at least the prior version) I was able to get both DP ports working along with the laptop display and FW 2.30.

Docks say "HP 2013 UltraSlim Docking Station", Product: D9Y32AA#ABA

Also, the older B9C87AA does not seem to work well with the 840 G1.  I can power it and if I recall run a sinlge monitor, but USB does not work for me.

same issue with just one single monitor connected to docking station using DP cable, I did all described above and nothing happened.
