Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d0000 (3S9N7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello everyone, so I'm here to share and find a solution to my problem, recently I bought a HP victus 16 :

  • 144Hz monitor
  • 8GB RAM
  • Inter i5 11400H,11th gen with intel UHD graphics
  • RTX 3060 6Go
  • 512 Go SSD

My problem is that the screen's refresh rate is locked to 60.01Hz and can't be set to 144Hz, it says that the monitor is displayed by  Intel UHD graphics, not by the Nvidia dedicated GPU.

It only show 60.01Hz or 40.02Hz

I tried everything like :

  1. Disabled the intel integrated graphics on the device manager
  2. updated all gpu drivers to their latest vailable version
  3. tried to make a clean installation of the intel graphics drivers

I also tried to enter my product's serial number in order to check if it really has a 144hz monitor, it does.

Moreover I heard that intel 11th gen can run 2k with 120/144Hz, its the case of i5 11400H, so i dont='t know why i can't enable 144Hz.

I dont know what to do anymore, can someone help me pls thanks for your answering.
