Hi @rohandungdung

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The flickering light beside the camera on your HP Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 usually indicates a hardware or driver issue preventing the camera from functioning properly. Here's how to troubleshoot and fix the problem:

Check Privacy Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
  • Ensure that Camera access is enabled and that apps like Camera, Zoom, etc., are allowed to access the camera.

Update or Reinstall Camera Driver:

  • Open Device Manager.
  • Locate Imaging Devices or Cameras, right-click on your camera, and select Uninstall Device.
  • Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the camera driver

Disable and Re-enable the Camera:

  • In Device Manager, right-click on the camera and select Disable Device.
  • Wait a few seconds, then select Enable Device.

Check for Conflicting Applications:

  • Close any background apps that might be accessing the camera (e.g., Discord, Teams, OBS).

Perform a Power Drain:

  • Unplug the power cord from the laptop and the wall.
  • Disconnect the power cable from the AC adapter if it's detachable.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds, then release it.
  • Reconnect the power cable and plug it back in.
  • Power on the laptop and check if the camera works.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
