Hi @rohandungdung,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The flickering light beside the camera on your HP Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 usually indicates a hardware or driver issue preventing the camera from functioning properly. Here's how to troubleshoot and fix the problem:
Check Privacy Settings:
- Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
- Ensure that Camera access is enabled and that apps like Camera, Zoom, etc., are allowed to access the camera.
Update or Reinstall Camera Driver:
- Open Device Manager.
- Locate Imaging Devices or Cameras, right-click on your camera, and select Uninstall Device.
- Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the camera driver
Disable and Re-enable the Camera:
- In Device Manager, right-click on the camera and select Disable Device.
- Wait a few seconds, then select Enable Device.
Check for Conflicting Applications:
- Close any background apps that might be accessing the camera (e.g., Discord, Teams, OBS).
Perform a Power Drain:
- Unplug the power cord from the laptop and the wall.
- Disconnect the power cable from the AC adapter if it's detachable.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds, then release it.
- Reconnect the power cable and plug it back in.
- Power on the laptop and check if the camera works.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
