HP Notebook - 15-ba047na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Notebook - 15-ba047na - has an integrated webcam and it lights up under 'Camera' (and some other video apps) but there is no image and the Camera says that the device cannot be found.

Its not shown in Device Manager under Imaging despite checking the Privacy software settings nor after Scan for hidden devices. So no opportunity to correct a driver. Hard resetting the Notebook makes no difference, nor does disabling the McAfee Firewall

I cannot see a webcam physical micro switch mentioned in another page for HP Envy.

Yet that light comes on under Camera showing there is some interaction.

Its now out of warranty but last year went back to HP to resolve a BIOS problem and they tested the webcam amongst a list of things.

Help please..
