Zbook 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

I would like to upgrade the terrible TN screen on my Zbook 15 ( gen 1 )

Can somebody write me down the part number of the best screen available( I think the dreamcolor can be fitted )?
I couldnt find solid part numbers anywhere 😞

My rig:

CPU: I7-4800
GPU: Q K2100M
RAM: 16GB
Storage: 256GB SSD

Product number: H7L68EC#ABD

Thank You! 🙂

Yes, as long as it has the same number of pins as the original and is the same resolution it should be a viable swap.

Part numbers?

The displays and systemboards have matching header on the systemboard  and connectors on the LCD display.

A higher resolution screen would require a matching systemboard.

It would make more sense financially to replace the notebook with one that has the resolution that is desired.

Otherwise, that will be one seriously expensive upgrade that would also violate the warranty of the Zbook that is already assembled.

Thank You for the reply!

The thing is I don't want to go to a higher resolution. The one I have installed is a FHD Panel fom Chi Mei ( I can post the part number of the panel once I get home ) So theoretically ( unless I'm mistaken ) I should be able to install Another screen as long as it has the same amount of PIN connectors as the current one right?
