Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Zbook u14 with display issues. It is recommended to have the Scale and Layout at 300% and Resolution at 3840 x 2160. However, when I open a RDP session or I open up Apps that I run (ex. Greenshot) the text in the app, on the information bar, is super tiny.  (ex. below)

Why is the information bar / toolbar so darn tiny and the reset is so huge? How can I fix this?

Thank you very much.

Windows can set the Resolution (to what the machine supports) and also provides the means to magnify the general Windows environment.

That said, Windows has no direct control of the various programs and software you are using (have installed).

What?

If the program / application was not written to support super-high-resolution displays, the application will still look "tiny".

It is a lack of support by the program.

What to do?

Suggestions...

Contact the application / support team for the program to find out whether there is a new version of the program that supports higher resolution.

Chunky "workaround"

Open the Windows magnifier and place it over the tiny program window.

Settings > Ease of Access > Magnifier

Example - Windows Magnifier
