I have an HP Envy x360 PC 15-ee1000 (2E2LOAV). I just bought an HP Active Pen g3. My computer recognizes it its paired via bluetooth. But the microsoft store literally will not let me download the HP Pen Control app that the internet is telling me I need. The Computer is seeing the pen, but I cannot do anything with it. None of the buttons do anything. I cannot write or scroll with it absolutely nothing. But it is paired with the computer.
Some sites are saying the pen should work with the computer and some say it won't. I literally just want to know if the pen will work with my computer or not. If not, great. If so, how am I supposed to get this thing to work.

Your machine is compatible with the following pens
1MR94AA HP Pen P.N. 910942-001
3J122AA HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen (Black)
3J123AA HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen (Silver)
I tested HP Envy 15-ee machine with a Dell stylus and a Surface stylus and they work too.
