Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My HP Stream Laptop Model 11-ak0512sa is not connecting to my Dell monitor model P2414Hb. Using an Displayport to hdmi connector. I have used an hdmi cable to connect to another monitor before and worked perfectly fine

The specs of your machine is

It does NOT have Display Port (DP). Your cable won't work (you can ONLY connect DP from host to HDMI on monitor buyt not anotherway around).

 

You need a bidirectional DP-HDMI cable to allow HDMI (from host) to DP (on monitor). For example
