Hi, I own a HP omen 34c bought ~half year ago. I noticed that half of the monitor has different contrast, tinted, darker. It looks something like that
It looks very similar to the picture above
I tried reinstalling AMD drivers, monitor factory reset, different cable. This issue just comes and goes. Usually i dont have this issue for the first few minutes after turning on the monitor but after that it appears
Also recently i had some colourful lines flickering ( horizontal ) but It went away after few minutes
Is there something i can do ?
Thank you!

Check to see if there is a hardware problem.
Tap the ESC key after powering on. Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
run the video test
If a component fails during the UEFI test then Click here to check warranty
HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically. When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics. There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS', Expand the'+'symbol and click the DOWNLOAD button. The version of the UEFI diagnostics is shown at the left of that DOWNLOAD button. When you press F2 to run diagnostics please ensure the version is the new one. |
To determine if the problem is the monitor, use another monitor or TV set
If no failure then windows drivers or file corruption could be the problem.
