HP pavilion X360 hinges are tearing apart my outside cover.

I just notice the my cover on the left side near the hinge has a 2 inch tear that just happened due to the material being too thin and the hinged being too stiff. My laptop is N HP Pavilion x360 convertible 15-cr0xxx .  I see the support ran out on 11-13-23 is there anything that can be done.
