HP MPP 1.51 Pen

Dear concern,

I have the following laptop :
HP EliteBook x360 830 G8 Notebook PC IDS Base Model
After talking with one of your customer support agent ( technical ) I bought the following ( bill in attachment ) product for my laptop.
HP MPP 1.51 pen
After receiving it I found the product is not compatible with my laptop. This is a complete disappointment. I had to spend a lot of time finding and communicating with your customer care agent for support and I got the wrong information.

However I would like to know ( TO HP Responsibles ) how can a customer check the compatibility of a product ?
Can anyone kindly explain me ( To the community ) why the mentioned on doesn't work with my laptop ? and how to buy the correct one ? even if it is not from HP .

Thanking you advance

From manual, no pen is compatible with the 830 g8 machines. Many HP business class machines DO NOT support Active Pen nor Touch. I've got an business class machine (around 4 years old) and an HP Mobile workstation machine (few months old) They DON'T have touchscreen and DO NOT support styluses. They don't have touch screens too.

Regards.
