Hi @rizul7,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

It sounds like your HP Pen (P/N: L85659-001) that came with your HP Envy x360 is having trouble pairing. Here’s a troubleshooting guide to help you get it working:

Steps to troubleshoot the HP Pen pairing issue:

Check Battery and Charging:

  • Since you mentioned the white ring lights up, it indicates the pen is receiving power. However, ensure the pen is fully charged before attempting to pair it. If possible, charge it for at least 30 minutes and see if it makes a difference.

Enable Bluetooth:

  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your laptop.
  • Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
  • Check if the pen appears in the list of available devices. If it does, try to connect/pair with it from here.

Pair the Pen:

  • On the pen, press and hold the top button for 5-7 seconds until the light flashes. This will put the pen in pairing mode.
  • On your laptop, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices and look for the HP Pen to show up in the list of available devices. Select it to complete the pairing.

HP Pen Software and Driver:

  • Ensure that your laptop has the latest HP Pen drivers installed. You can visit the HP Support website and download the latest driver for your pen and laptop model. Alternatively, you can check for updates via HP Support Assistant.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and check if there are any pending updates, especially for Bluetooth or touch screen functionality, as these could affect the pen's ability to work properly.

Restart Laptop:

  • Sometimes a simple reboot can resolve pairing issues. Restart your laptop and try to pair the pen again.

Check for Pen Calibration:

  • If the pen is paired but not working as expected, you might need to recalibrate it.
  • Go to Settings > Devices > Pen & Windows Ink and ensure the pen settings are properly configured.

Reset the Pen: If the pen is still not working, you may want to try resetting it. On some HP pens, holding the pairing button for 10-15 seconds may reset the pen.

Check for Interference: Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices nearby that could be interfering with the pairing process.

If you're still unable to pair the pen or find specific resources, contact phone support.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
