ENVY x360 Convert 13-ay1007AU

I received the HP rechargeable MPP2.0 tilt pen along with the Envy x360 laptop purchase, as advertised on the product page, but the strangely the stylus doesn't seem to be compatible with the device?

Contacted the HP help service and the response was confusing. At first they mentioned that the pen should be automatically connected after proper configuration on the HP Pen app, and then after that said to try connecting via bluetooth. After a few rounds of back and forth the help service said laptop does not come with the pen (but... it was included in the laptop box), and then the help service concluded that the stylus could be sent as an additional component and not meant to be used with the laptop.

So the MPP2.0 tilt pen does not work on the Envy x360 13" and.. I need to get another pen?

Anyone here able to use the MPP2.0 tilt pen on the Envy x360 13" model, if not, does anyone know why HP included an incompatible pen along with the purchase?

The manual (page 24) of the series says it compatible with the following pens:

Stylus (Sunwoda stylus active pen):

  •  In dark ash silver finish part # 920241-001
  • In natural silver finish part # 910942-001

Regards.
