HP says my computer is not covered under the active warranty due to accidental damage.

They say they can fix it for $531.24, or send it back to me un-repaired for no cost.

When I called to find out what exactly they would be repairing for $531.24, they were unable to answer and said they would have someone from tech reach out to me to explain.

Weeks have gone by and no one has reached out.

Prior to this, they first sent the computer back to me un-repaired with no explanation, so I had to send it back in a second time.

All in all, they've now had my computer for over 3 months and I am not sure what to do.  Why can they not tell me what the cost would cover?  Shouldn't I know what I would be paying for?

When I try to call the number they tell me to call, it wants a 6-digit number for my agent, which I do not have, so cannot get through.

This is my first time buying an HP (usually buy Dell), and don't think they will be retaining me as a customer.  Very frustrating.

Anyone have a similar experience or know who to contact to resolve?
