HP Recommended

I opened my laptop this morning. And it turned on normally then the screen flickered and went dark. I restarted, the power light and charging light were on but the display was very dark (like barely could see the hp symbol). I did a hard restart, unplugged, tried adjusting the screen brightness but nothing has worked.  I’m pissed, it’s only a couple of years old and I don’t used it very often.
