HP 14-bp190nd Thinbook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Im currently creating a docking station at home for my laptop. I've a hp thinbook14-bp190nd. Last week I bought myself the HP docking station HP USB-C Mini Dock USB 3.0 (3.1 Gen 1) Type-C. So far so good. But the video signal seems to have a problem. The LAN, usb1 for mouse, usb2 for keyboard and LAN for internet all work fine. But the video signal doesn't seem to get through. I tried the HDMI and VGA port of the docking station but my monitor doesn't respond. When I put the HDMI cable directly from monitor to laptop all works fine. Would appreciate the help with this problem. 1) Is the USB-C 3.1 gen1 not good enough? 2) Do I need to manually change settings? 3) Do I need a different docking station or perhaps get to the conclusion that the laptop just cant handle this?

Would appreciate any help!

Note: the monitor is a BenQ EW277HDR- Full HD HDR Monitor.

Hello Banhien,

Thanks for your reply. I've downloaded and installed the driver.  Sadly it didn't had any effect.  No changes what so ever.
