I have been using a Mac Studio Display as a second screen with my HP laptop for three days. It sometimes needed to reconnect but as of today it has stopped displaying on the screen. Audio and microphone still connects. Every time I try to plug in the Studio screen I get a warning about recommending using an HP device to charge - my HP charging cable is plugged in already.

I have tried starting and restarting in multiple configurations, unplugging both machines, uninstalling the updates I installed yesterday on shut down (as that's a point before the change seemed to happen), uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, and many, many other updates from the HP website. At one point today after a restart it worked again, hours later.

The Mac Studio Display and cable is fine because it works with another laptop (7+ years old Chromebook) and the HP laptops/ports are fine because it works when I plug it into my TV. It's something about the connection between the Mac and HP.

Any help would be so appreciated, I'm sorry to say I let this take over much of my workday!
