HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

I bought a new HP Spectre x360 which I want to use with my Dell monitor as second screen.

This is the laptop:

https://www.bol.com/nl/p/hp-spectre-x360-13-aw0200nd-2-in-1-laptop-13-3-inch/9200000120242261?referr...

My Dell monitor has a resolution of 2560 x 1440:

When I use an adapter from Usb C to HDMI, Windows gives me a highest resolution of only 1920 x 1080.

All drivers are updated, Iris video card, Dell u2723hm, windows. I have tested this with three different adapters now from usb c to hdmi, and all three state they go up to 4K. It seems to be the laptop that does not recognize the higher resolution of this particular Dell screen, or does the laptop not allow higher resolution over HDMI on any monitor/tv?

This is the hub for 4k:

Could you help me out how to get the full resolution out of the Dell screen?

Thank you!

Roderik

@Roderik

What is your adapter ? Does it support HDMI 2.0 ?
