Half of my laptop screen is green all the time. It's split vertically and it's on the right hand side. How do I fix this?

Hello @sydney6

Thank you for your help, but I tried everything on the list and nothing worked, the screen is still green. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for getting back to me @sydney6.

Try booting into safe mode to see if you have the same issue. This will determine if it is a software issue.

If you have an external monitor to try, I would connect it to see if you have the same results. If you do, then it is a hardware issue with the display.

I would run the Hardware test on the Graphics and Video:

Testing for Hardware Failures (Windows 10, 8). Go to Opening the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI), then select Component Tests and click Video.

Let me know the results. Thanks!
