Hi,

Is it the same in BIOS or the HP logo at startup?

Let me know,

David

Hi David,

Yes its the same even when on bios screen upon start. Infact i have done hardware tet (by pressing f2 when booting up) and all the tests came PASSED. I dont think this is a hardware issue because the tests have PASSED and the issue doesnt show up when connected to external monitor. This either has to be pure screen issue or just the screen connector issue. While one half is completely blank the touch part in the blank area is still working.

Hi,

Most likely you will need to replace the screen. It could be the cable, but I believe it is the actual panel.

Regards,

David
