Troubleshooting black screen issues on HP Notebooks: Click here to view the instructions!

HP OMEN 15-dc0002ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I hope my product/model name is correct (I found it by google-ing my product number). So, my problem is the following: I bought my laptop for editing video and photos and was aware of the mediocre screen (for this purpose) and planned on getting an external display. However, for travelling, an internal display woul be better.

The question: Is there any possibility for me to find better displays I can exchange with the current one? If yes, what do I need to know? Are there only few displays that go with a certain laptop?

Thank you in advance!

You can refer to pager 26 in the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06219881

Thank you 😊
