HP Pavilion 15-cs3073cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was able to add an external monitor to my HP Pavilion 15-cs3073cl and it worked fine plugged into the HDMI port to mirror my laptop screen. I researched and ordered a QGeeM 9 port data hub converter that plugs into the USB C port on my laptop. When I plug in my keyboard and mouse into it, they work fine. The HDMi ports don't seem to be recognized. There are 2 of them for the 2 external monitors to extend. I've checked to update the  drivers and it shows they're up to date. I also downloaded and updated windows. My laptop shows the device is working correctly, but no monitors... Please help!

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

As per the Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06248419, this Notebook only has a regular USB Type-C Port and not the Thunderbolt USB Type-C Port.

This means the USB Type-C port cannot be used for connecting external monitors even through a HUB

Thank you
