I would like to use the facial recognition to log into my laptop but it says there is no camera compatible with windows face hello. As this is a new laptop I think it would be compatible , I just don't know how to fix this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

New does not equal having all the components you expect.
Facial recognition requires an IR camera.

I don't find the Service Guide for the 1000 series --
the Maintenance and Service Guide for the fa000 series does NOT show an IR camera as an option.
There is no evidence that the two model types would include different cameras.
