I'd like to know if it can support an additional 2 external monitors in addition to the laptop's own display. If it is possible, would you suppose provide a 'how' on that? Thank you in advance!

What is your HP Laptop 17-ca1xxx machine ? Manual for the series:

If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (total 3), you can use

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

 

Or use other option such as: https://support.hp.com/ie-en/product/details/hp-usb-3.0-3005pr-port-replicator/model/5256709
