Dear HP Support Team,

I am seeking assistance for an urgent hardware issue with my HP Envy x360 laptop (Model: 15-ed), purchased in December 2022.

While closing the laptop, the hinge mount inside the back cover broke, causing the screen panel to misalign. As a result, the laptop can no longer be closed, and there is now a visible crack on the screen panel as well.

Attached are images clearly showing the damage for your reference.

I would like to know:

  1. If HP  can replace the back cover panel (with hinge mounts)
  2. If the screen can be repaired or replaced as part of this service
  3. The estimated cost and repair timeline

The laptop is otherwise in good condition.

Looking forward to a quick response and resolution.

Thank you.
