It was advertised that I could use the camera and AI to notify me if anyone is looking at my screen when I'm working. How do I set this up?

Hi @maks1854,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
The feature you're referring to is likely HP's AI-based screen privacy notification, a part of the HP Presence suite on compatible devices. Here's how to set it up:
Steps to Enable the Screen Privacy Notification:
Ensure Software is Installed:
- Open the HP Command Center (search for it in the Start menu).
- If not installed, download it from the Microsoft Store or HP Support website.
Access the AI Settings:
- Within HP Command Center, navigate to the Focus Mode or AI-Based Settings tab (exact naming may vary).
- Look for options related to Screen Privacy or Shoulder Surfing Alert.
Enable Notifications:
- Turn on the Privacy Alert feature. This activates the AI-driven notifications for detecting when someone is looking over your shoulder or at your screen.
Calibrate the Camera:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate the camera for optimal recognition. Ensure the environment is well-lit for better detection accuracy.
Customize Notifications:
- You may be able to set how notifications appear (e.g., subtle alerts, screen dimming, etc.).
Test the Feature:
- Ask someone to simulate looking at your screen to ensure the feature works as expected.
Notes:
- Make sure your camera drivers are up to date via the HP Support Assistant.
- Ensure privacy permissions are granted for the HP software to access your camera.
