How I can enable the physical keyboard while my laptop is in the tablet mode? I connect to a monitor at work and want to save space, so I fold my laptop in half, activiating Tablet mode, but I want to use the physical keyboard and not the screen.

Thanks for the help.

@KevDev

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

As I Understand you want to know how to enable the physical keyboard in tablet mode,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

Did you check the user guides for this information?

While you respond to that, I must inform that the Tablet is designed to disable the physical keyboard when switched to the tablet mode and hence getting the keyboard to work after switching to tablet mode, I hope that answers your question.

Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,

It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.

I wanted to spread someone else's answer to this problem:

"am4210 on 06-04-2017 (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/How-to-use-physical-keyboard-in-table...😞

I appreciate the swift response, but I actually found a solution already: I went to Device Manager > System devices > Intel Integrated Sensor Solution and disabled that driver. The computer no longer recognizes the switch from laptop to tablet mode and leaves keyboard enabled even in the latter configuration. Thus, I am now able fold up the machine and use the keyboard while it is attached to a monitor."

Cheers.
