Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was projecting my computer screen to my Oculus Quest through Virtual Desktop and my computer crashed. Now, whenever I turn it on, everything on the screen is expanded because my computer thinks it is still projecting. I've tried adjusting the resolution, I've tried fixing the drives, nothing works. I managed to get it back to normal when I plugged in an HDMI cable but once I turned it off it went back to how it was. Now when I plug in an HDMI it'll go back to normal until I unplug it, then it'll expand again.

If it helps at all, I've noticed that my computer thinks it is still connected to the Oculus Quest. I still have the option to use the Quest's microphone and audio even though it is off and not connected anymore.

@kjmelen,

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is still showing connected to the wireless display even after disconnecting it.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you press the Windows key and P and select the PC screen only and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, then go to your wireless display options and click on disconnect or remove the device.

Here is how it is done.

To remove the device, open Settings , and then select Devices  > Bluetooth & other devices . Select the wireless display, adapter, or dock, then select Remove device

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

P.S: Welcome to the HP Support Community 😊
