Hi, how do I turn on the function so that I can use my function keys without having to hold function all the time? IT used to do this on its own since I got but all of a sudden stopped. I followed the instructions in this article https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02035108 but the action keys mode was already enabled. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @ALF29
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I see that you are not able to use your Function keys without having to hold the Function all the time. Do not worry, we are here to help you with it.
May I know if you have made any recent hardware or software related changes to it?
Since you have already checked it in the BIOS, I would suggest you update all the drivers on your system and then boot into BIOS to disable it. Once done, exit from the BIOS and boot back in it to enable.
Let me know if you see any difference related to it. Here is a link that will help you update all the drivers on your system: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2857204-2362249-16
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
