Basically it sometimes connects and sometimes disconnects i dont know if the issue is bios but i have not got any viruses its not disabled it doesn't show up in device manager

Click on this link for a previous BIOS version. Expand "BIOS" > "HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors)" > Click on "Previous Version".

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

 

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M (2 GB GDDR5 dedicated) installed on the PC.

 

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

 

Firstly, perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant: ( do not skip any troubleshooting steps if you feel steps are repeating ) 

To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.

Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.

  1. To open the HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon https://support.hp.com/doc-images/932/c05040382.jpg.
  2. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
  3. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  4. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  5. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  6. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

i've done every single one of those steps and i have reinstalled windows just to be sure and it brought no effect 
i may have an idea on whats causing the issue: when i updated my bios the issue started to take off a lot so maybe its that

Thank you for posting back.

 

Let's try Bios Recovery using a keypress combination:

  1. Turn off the computer, and then connect the power cord.
  2. Press and hold the Windows key and the B key at the same time, and then press and hold the Power button for 2 to 3 seconds.
  3. Release the Power button but continue pressing the Windows and B keys. You might hear a series of beeps.

If this recovery method fails, use another working computer to create a BIOS recovery flash drive to install the latest BIOS file.

i didint get any results maybe i need an older bios version? like the one i got when i recieved the laptop

I Was only able to degrade from f53 to f52 and i tried to check for updates and it worked! thank you so much for your help you dont know how greatful i am 😄
