Hi community, Im desparate. Previously my vga cable broke and I replaced with a new one. Now when connecting to my second monitor with my laptop my second monitor display resolution dropped. My second monitor have 1600 x 900 but the display settings aka active signal resolution cannot detect or change to 1600 x 900. The laptop keeps on tuning down the resolution to 1024 x 768 or the original laptop resolution which is 1920 x  1080. I am surviving with 1024 x 768 reso outputting to my 1600 x 900 which is shown in the figure below. Any ideas how to change the active signal resolution back to 1600 x 900? Will this be the issue of my newly bought vga cable??
