ProBook 4740s
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have connected 2 external monitors (HP 22w) to my HP ProBook 4740s, the first with the VGA port, the second with the HDMI port. Unfortunately, the two do not work simultaneously.

What can I do to connect them both and extend the display?

Thank you,

Best regards

It is an old machine, this should work. Anyway, if you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)

For example

First, I would like to thank you for your answer to my question about my Probook 4740s and my 2 screens that I was trying to connect at the same time.

I have since bought:
- HP ProBook 450 G7
- HP USB-C Dock G5

I connected the first monitor (HP 22w) with the Dock's HDMI port and the second (HP 22w) monitor with the ProBook's HDMI port. It's Ok.

Today I bought an HP DP to Hdmi 1.4 Adapter and tried to plug it into the Dock next to the HDMI ...

Unfortunately it didn't work.

On the other hand, the **bleep**'s HDMI port did nothing with Linux Mint.

My Dock has a bug ...

What do you think ?

Thanks for your help.
