Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Greetings.  

 

I am trying to connect my HP Z34c curved monitor to my DELL Precision 7710 laptop (No USBc port) via the HP USB-C dock. 

 

I current have the USB to USBc converter connecting laptop to HP USB-C dock  but i am not getting any picture.  

 

When i run the HDMI from laptop to HP monitor it works just fine, but i want to be able to utilize the USB-C dock. 

 

Please help.

What is your HP USB-C Dock. Looks like it is NOT compatible with your Dell machine therefore you won't get full feature from the dock. The monitor has following input ports

 

 
HDMI 1.4 - 1
MHL 2.0/HDMI 1.4 - 1
DisplayPort 1.2 - 1
HDCP support on all inputs

 

Have you tried those ?
