I am trying to connect my Elite X2 G1 to an external dispay monitor through a HP-USB-c dock and have not been successful, either using the HDMI or DP caples that comes along with the LG monitor 38WK95C.
Thanks,

Have you tried connecting from the DisplayPort on the base to the DisplayPort on your LG monitor?
Have you configured the LG to "listen" to the video-input from the DisplayPort?
Hold-down the "Windows" keyboard key, and press the 'P' key.
Does it show the presence of two display screens?
