Please could someone advise how best to coonect my 13" Envy laptop to my external monitor HDMI cable - aparently certain adaptors may not work
Any assistance would be appreciated with thanks

The specs of your machine is

It does NOT have HDMI port. You can use USB-C to HDMI adapter to connect to an external monitor. But that will waste a valuable Thunderbolt™ 3 port for many other works. The best option is to use a dock (expensive) or cheaper option
