I (my wife) has an HP Envy x360. Currently, she has (1) external monitor (P2719H) and uses the extended view via the HDMI cable.

I acquired a DELL U2412M monitor that does not have the HDMI cable but a DP cable. I want to get her set up with both monitors in the extended view. I bought a docking station to plug into the USB-C BEFORE i read that the USB-C on this model laptop is not a Thunderbolt hence it will not support a monitor.

In summary:

I want to get both monitors working, in extended view. What do i need to get to make this happen? Her laptop does not have a DP connection.

Help.

Thanks.

Hi Banhien.

Thank you for responding. The info I have is as follows. Not sure exactly what you need. (I'm not too computer savvy. I know enough to get by.)
HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-ed1xxx
11th Gen Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz
12GB Ram
64-bit Op. System
I hope this helps.
