I cannot disactivate the touch pad. I found some instructions that tell me to find the correct command in the pad settings, But when I open pad settings I find only mouse settings so a cannot find a command to disactivate the touchpad. It is really annoyng because when I use keyboard often I accidentally touch the pad.

Someone can show me I can I do?

Thank you

Please try

  • Press the Win+S, type Control Panel, and then press Enter.
  • Select Hardware and Sound.
  • Under Devices and Printers, select Mouse.
  • In the Mouse Properties window, select the tab labeled TouchPad, ClickPad, or something similar.
  • On the TouchPad tab, there should be an option for enabling and disabling the TouchPad. It may be a button or a checkbox. Select the Disable option and then OK.

Depending on you Control Panel setup, you can go direct to Mouse and don't need point 2 above.

Regards.

Thank you for your answer,

The problem is that in the Mouse property window there is any tab labeled TouchPad, ClickPad, or something similar I can select to enable the touch pad.

It is possible just to uninstall the touch pad but a I don't want to do that because I just want to enable it just when I use the keyboard.

Maybe I do wrong something or I can't clearly understand the instructions.
