Product: Hp laptop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I really cannot deal with these hp updates that take 3 hrs to complete. I need to remove this feature.

If you are referring to updates done through HP Support Assistant you can Uninstall it. Click the Notification icon at right corner of the taskbar next to the time. Choose All Settings from the menu. In the window that opens click on Apps. Find HP Support Assistant in the list and click to select it- Uninstall is then available.

 Or-in the search bar next to Start button start typing add or remove programs and it will appear at top of list. Click it and It will open up to the Apps menu with Uninstall available.
