HP EliteDisplay S14 Portable Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Envy x360 15-inch laptop and I would like to connect a second monitor to have two screens with which to work. The second monitor I have is an HP EliteDisplay S14 Portable Display, which has only a USB-C port. I have tried connecting the monitor to my laptop with a USB-C to USB-C cable into the USB-C port on my laptop, and power is supplied to the portable display however there is nothing more. Within the display settings I have attempted to detect multiple displays and none is recognized.

Is it possible to use a second monitor with this laptop?

Is it possible to use the HP EliteDisplay S14 Portable Display with this laptop?

I do not have the original cable supplied with the monitor, and I have used a different USB-C to USB-C cable when connecting (I have been missing the cable longer than I've attempted using it on this laptop). Is there a reason why a different USB-C to USB-C cable would not work for this?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
