I understand that you are looking to turn off the keyboard light. I'd like to help!

 

Please follow the steps below.

 

How to adjust the keyboard backlighting on Chromebooks |

  1. Locate the alt and the screen brightness adjustment buttons
  2. Press and hold down on the alt key
  3. Tap on either the screen brightness up or down buttons
