I connect a second monitor to the VGA port but I don't see anything, I choose the different functions using the F4 key but I keep seeing only from the integrated monitor, from settings the detect function does not detect the monitor, in the BIOS there are no functions to enable the VGA port in conclusion, can the VGA port be used to connect an external monitor? Thanks in advance

Your machine has

  • (2) USB 3.1 (Gen 1) (left side)
  • (1) USB 2.0 (right side)
  • (1) HDMI 1.4b (cable sold separately)
  • (1) RJ-45/Ethernet (cable sold separately)
  • (1) Headphone/microphone combo jack
  • (1) VGA port
  • (1) AC Smart adapter

You can connect to 2 external monitor using HDMI port and native VGA port. How to you connect your VGA monitor using VGA port ? Do you have a right cable ? (Normally blue both ends).

Regards,

BH

I am using the VGA port and the cable is correct because I got it from a desktop pc where it worked perfectly and with the blue both ends and therefore from your answer I have to assume not to use the VGA port but the HDMI one? Thanks again and kind regards, Angelo
