Hp Elitebook
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an Hp Elitebook 8470P the Product number is C7L60UP#ABA it has an i5 3320M

I thought when I bought it that it had dedicated graphics but when I checked device manager it doesn't show

but when I looked at the motherboard I saw a chip that is like 98% sure is a graphics chip (i have seen laptop graphics chips before and this one looked a lot like one)

Thanks ahead for any responses

Hi:

Usually the parts list shows the specific motherboard that comes with the PC, but when you look at the parts list for your notebook's product number, it shows every available option.

So, there is no way to tell for sure.

However, if the notebook had the Intel/AMD switchable graphics motherboard, you would be seeing two graphics adapters listed under the Display Adapters device manager category.

This leads me to believe that your model only has the onboard Intel graphics motherboard.
