Hi everyone, I would like to ask is this pop up at the back means the hinge has problem? Tbh, I has changed my laptop hinge TWICE ( Claimed from warranty) But it still doesn’t help, whenever I open my laptop lid, it doesn’t go smooth, it took me a lot of pressure to open it up. And because of this I don’t close my lids everyday because I feel like whenever I open, it will increase the damage to the hinge and eventually I has to change it again. I mean like why this pavilion 15 hinge got so many problem... the smoothness of opening the lid is a huge problem for me since 2019( I brought it on 2018) any tips on solving this issues ... my warranty has ended
Ps: I am sorry if my English wasn’t that good.

I reviewed your post and I understand that there is a bulge on the back of the computer and you want to know whether it is due to the hinges.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I checked the images you have shared, and it doesn’t look like the bulge is due to the hinges. However, I recommend you contact support and they will assist you in this regard.
Here is how you can get in touch with support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
