Hi,
I have been connecting my HP Spectre x360 since I bout to my LG monitor through an USB-C to USB-C cable. It stopped working after 5 months. I tried to connect with HDMI to USB-C and also it doesn't detect the monitor. Both devices are new. Cables as well.
I have made some system and driver updates and still nothing. Any recommendations?

I intentionally have Windows Driver Updates DISABLED on my PCs for this very reason -- as MS comes along, pushes an update onto you, and the next thing you know, something that has worked well for months, or years, no longer works.
If you can pinpoint WHEN this happened, then go into Windows Update history and look for an Update around that time frame. If you find one, then try to uninstall it -- and see if that fixes the issue. If it does, then you will have to go into Windows Update Settings and delay updates. And in the meantime, back off the current drivers to a US\B stick so that if this update runs again, you can restore the drivers.
