I have a hp spectre 360 14-eu0xxx. Just wondering whether it was possible to enable the keyboard while in tablet mode. Tablet mode turns on as soon as I tilt my screen and I am unable to use my keyboard while lying in bed because of this. Im hoping there is a solution to this or if not, could it be an option in the future.

Thanks so much!

@Odinson964, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

It's understandable that you're looking for a way to use your HP Spectre 360's keyboard while in tablet mode, especially for situations like lying in bed. Currently, Windows 10/11 automatically disables the keyboard when the device is in tablet mode to prevent accidental key presses or conflicts with touch input. Unfortunately, there isn't a built-in setting to change this behavior in the system settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

It doesn't actually but thanks.

Maybe it's a feature that could be added because it's pretty stupid that you can't switch tablet mode on and off.

Hey @Odinson964

Thanks for reaching out! Since the issue remains unresolved, I suggest contacting our phone/chat support team for personalized assistance. They can provide one-on-one help and may even be able to work their remote assistance magic to fix the problem.

Note: There might be a nominal charge for the service they provide.
