Hi, Ive searched hi and lo for a solution and saw many others with the exact same issue and apparently there is no solution. Thanks HP! Anyways My touchscreen stopped working . Under pc info it now says no pen or touch support. Also in device manager it says the hardware is not connected to the pc. Its under show hidden devices. There is no driver downloads for the touchscreen on the hp website. I really like this laptop but need the touch function to work. Any help would be greatly appriciated..Thanks....Mike

Hi @Hrtbt454

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Please try these steps - HP PCs - Display and Touchscreen Troubleshooting

If the issue still persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Try these steps to update the computer -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Let me know.
