Product: HP Pavilion notebook 17-e017dx-AMD
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Yes my question is  are all hp pav notebook 17 screens/displays interchangeable, im thinking about purchasing one that needs a display and i can get one of them pretty cheap as well but the 2nd unit model a lil different and i just want to make sure im not waisting the little bit of money i have left

There could be custom parts.  The connector on the display might be in a different location requiring a special cable.  I would ask the seller to disassemble and take photo of the back of the screen so you can see the LG, Samsung or HP part number and be able to match it against the replacement screen.
