I purchased my hp victus 16-e0352AX on 6th April 2023. This pc comes up with multiple problems, with battery calibration issue, battery does not support for longer than 3-4 hours under normal usage. Now the left hinge of my laptop has been broken by itself, the hinges are too tight and it made a crackling sound while opening and closing the lid also the broken hinge is affecting the screen causing screen bleeding and I have found that all these issues are with most of the hp victus models. This is a manufacturing defect whose loss I have to face after paying INR63000 for this laptop. It's a huge disappointment for me that such a brand deliberately made such a product. For this size of screen of 16.1 inches with minimal support. What do I do now as service centres are far from my location. Now will I need to replace my screen panel or change the hinges ? Why this problem occurred within such a short duration even after handling it with extensive care?

Some newer laptops can have the hinge repaired by HP even if out of warranty.

It might be useful to lubricate the hinge as I suspect that caused the problem.
This discussion is about using a toothpick to lubricate a MacBook hinge. Hinge problem exist on all laptops, not just HP.
Or just do a general search
