Ok so after testing the frame drops still happen so i'm going to download the update off the geforce website and test it again after installing it

So all my drivers are up to date and im still expieriencing the frame rate drops.

Please make sure you open a case with HP if you haven't already - you should still be within the warranty period if it's only a few months old?

yes i have 4 years warrenty, i will take it in to have a look at when i can, i may still post what i know until then. Thank you for your help, i truly appreciate it.
